UCLA STUDENTS: If you would like to become a VITA volunteer please look for us at the Enormous Activities Fair on September 24th from 10am-2pm. We will also be advertising in many of your classrooms during the fall quarter. To be eligible for the program you will need to fill out an application and turn it in at 405 Kerckhoff by 5pm of October 31, 2007. Note that training will begin during week 6 of fall quarter and will continue into the beginning of winter quarter. New Requirements for 2007-2008: Fill out an application and turn it in at Kerckhoff 405 by 5pm October 31st Take an open-note quiz at the end of each general training session (will be provided) Pass all quizzes with a total score of 70 percent or higher to be eligible for the specialty sessions Will be notified if eligible to move on to specialty sessions by December 31st Pass test online at Link-n-Learn by January 31st Complete at least 8 tax returns and commit to at least 10 hours of volunteering to be certified by the IRS * All requirements subject to change
